Chiricahuas, Pinalenos, Huachucas, and Santa Ritas

5,000 - 10,000 feet

 

Habitat:

Pine forests, mixed-confer, rocky terrain, flats and open forests.

Reproduction:

Mates in Summer

Oviparous

9 born in Summer

 

Behavior:

BITES WHEN HANDLED OR HARRASSED!

Primarily Diurnal

Active year-round
